Hello TNBA, Inland Empire Senate (IES) Family,
Over the past two years as President of Moreno Valley (IES) Senate, I have continued to see many great successes. Our Board of Directors “hit the ground running” and concentrated on four key areas we felt were most important to achieve. The priorities consisted of:
1. Launching a Marketing Campaign to retain current members and attract new ones;
2. Establishing stronger connections and pooling additional resources to improve our communication approach and ongoing relationships with you -- our bowlers;
3. Building the Junior Program; and
4. Assisting with continually growing TNBA, as an Association, at large.
Our team is committed to continually Building Value into the Moreno Valley (IES) Senate – this starts with serving you through your membership. We are gaining momentum, based on your ongoing input and support. Please, continue to communicate with our team.
My Vice President, Jonnetta Chambers, and I have participated in and represented our members in a leadership capacity via monthly, quarterly and annual events and meetings (physical of teleconference) on a Senate, Tri-Senate, Regional or National level – this includes the National TNBA Convention or Summer Board Executive Committee Meeting. Participating and engaging on behalf of you – our members – is one of the keys to success.
Showing-up, asking relevant questions, and demonstrating effective communication are necessary strategies to improve in preparation and actual service to our bowlers. We will continue to collaborate and build on our relationships with other Senates across the United States and Bermuda. Our mission is to continue representing you, addressing issues, celebrating successes, and participating in many events over the next season. We look forward to TNBA maintaining and growing its position in the Bowling World.
As we are already well into 2018, the Moreno Valley (IES) Senate will continue to focus on:
• Addressing membership retention.
• Following-up with TNBA National about any related issues affecting our Senate.
• Working closely with Regional and National Officers, partnering on projects, to cut cost and build our Junior Scholarship Programs.
• Continuing to be your voice, throughout all levels of the TNBA organization.
In closing, I’d like to thank the Elected and Appointed Board Members for their dedication and support over the last two years. Thanks, also, to all of the committee members for their hard work in moving forward. A Special Thank You, to you – our dedicated bowlers.
As your President, I would like to thank you all for your trust and support in making these past two years an enjoyable experience. I am excited to what is to come in 2019. The Moreno Valley (IES) Senate currently has 385 members strong, and with continued enthusiasm and a willingness to work together, we can be even more successful, as we move forward in the TNBA spirit of “Sportsmanship, Fellowship and Friendship”.
