Paving The Road to the Future

Inland Empire Senate of the National Bowling Association

MESSAGE FROM RUTH WOODLEY, Senate President

Greetings TNBA Members!

As President of TNBA Inland Empire Senate, I welcome you to our bowling family for the 2021-2022 season. I am sincerely honored and excited to be your president for the next two years.

Congratulations! You are now a member of a non-profit organization founded by African-Americans in 1939 in Detroit, Michigan for the express purpose of encouraging bowlers to develop their skills in the game of Ten Pins. Anyone who believes in TNBA’s cause, regardless of race, creed or color, bowlers and non-bowlers are welcome to join.

By purchasing a TNBA membership card, you are entitled to:

  1. Awards based on qualifying scores bowled;
  2. Participate in local, regional and national tournaments;
  3. Scholarship awards for your qualifying high school graduates offered by our senate and on the national level;
  4. Participate in the King & Queen Contest where the winners travel to all four regional tournaments;
  5. Excellent Junior Bowler’s Program where your youth is invited to participate.

The Inland Empire Senate Board members (Rob McDaniel – Vice President, Shirley Smith – Secretary, Gail Morris – Asst. Secretary, Tracy Smith -Treasurer, Directors and Chairpersons) are ready to serve and assist you with any concerns you may have. Our main goal is to retain our existing members, recruit new members, and re-build our membership to again be one of the strongest senates of TNBA. We welcome your comments in order to address any issues that will help make the senate even more successful.

I pray that you and your loved ones are doing well after having such challenging times during this pandemic. My team and I are looking forward to working for you, our senate members.  Wishing you a healthy and productive bowling season!

Yours in Sportsmanship, Fellowship & Friendship,

Ruth A. Woodley
