The Mixed Team Tournament is an annual event for the Inland Empire Senate and this year will be the last year we bowl at Empire Bowl under current lane conditions; the center will convert to string pins in the coming weeks. We congratulate “Team Moran” for being the winner of this year’s tournament. With 2,795 total pins, Andres Moran Jr., Chris Gonzalez, Andy Moran, and Gabriel Ramirez were able to beat the second-place team, “Adams Family,” by 49 pins.
Kaitlyn Cook shows off her 800 series ring at IES’ Mixed Team City Tournament on February 25 held at Empire Bowl in Redlands, CA. The Inland Empire Senate would like to Congratulate Miss Kaitlyn Cook. Not only has she bowled an 800+ series this season but bowled a second 800+ series the same night she was presented with a TNBA ring for her first 800 series!
The tournament itself was fun but competitive and exciting with an average of only 29 pins separating 1st thru 4th places. It was the consensus that everyone enjoyed themselves. The Inland Empire Senate plan to have another tournament there at Empire Bowl later this year to welcome in the new string pin format.
Great game Team Moran, enjoy your 1st place prize of $1,250. Also, good job teams Adams family, Team Harvey and Team MOE-FO for cashing out in 2nd thru 4 places. Great shooting, Kaitlyn on your "back-to-back" 800s!!
